DHI recently hosted the Industry–Academia Workshop on Biofouling Management and Antifouling Technologies, bringing together industry and academic experts to address key challenges in biofouling management.

Biofouling continues to pose significant technical, environmental, and operational challenges across multiple industries. The workshop focused on current and future challenges, industry-driven projects, and the latest academic research in antifouling technologies, providing a valuable platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration.

Engaging with academic research is an important part of how DHI strengthens its expertise and ensures the delivery of informed, effective solutions to clients. We thank Professor Kim Dam-Johansen (DTU) and PhD students Pascal Guth, Shawn Lindner, Matthias Bork, and Joshua Anani for sharing their research and contributing to the discussions.
